As the demand for electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE) continues to rise worldwide, ensuring product safety and durability has become a critical requirement for manufacturers and certification bodies. To address this, our company has recently developed and launched a new generation EV Charger Cable Anchorage Test Equipment, fully compliant with IEC 61851-1:2017, clause 11.6.
Our customer, an EVSE manufacturer, was seeking a reliable cable pull force and torque test machine to evaluate the mechanical strength of charging connectors. Their goal was to verify compliance with international safety standards while maintaining long-term reliability for their EV charging products.
We provided our latest model Cable Anchorage Pull Force and Torque Testing Machine, specifically designed for EV charger cable testing. The equipment offers:
Pull force testing (160N, 200N, 240N, 250N, 500N options)
Torque testing (0.6N·m to 16.3N·m, adjustable with weight combinations)
PLC-controlled operation with touchscreen interface
Automatic stop function once preset cycles or time limits are reached
Universal clamping fixture for flexible sample holding
IEC 61851-1 Compliance – Meets the latest international standards for EV charger testing equipment.
High Accuracy & Repeatability – Motor-driven system with precise control of tensile and torque loads.
Durability & Safety Assurance – Ensures charging connectors can withstand long-term mechanical stresses.
Customizable Testing Parameters – Pull cycles, torque application time, and test frequency can be preset to match customer requirements.
