System Overview
Laboratory Introduction

This laboratory utilizes insulated chamber panels and an accompanying air reprocessing unit to provide a stable temperature and humidity environment for washing machine performance testing. Utilizing a constant temperature water system and related measurement and control systems, the units under test can operate continuously at a temperature of 23±2°C and a humidity control of 65%±5%. This facility provides the necessary conditions for testing washing machine energy consumption and other performance tests.

This project, a washing machine performance laboratory, primarily includes three test stations for washing machines and one test station for a reference machine. The goal is to establish a state-of-the-art laboratory capable of washing machine testing, improving product qualification rates and market competitiveness.

Main Components of the Laboratory
Laboratory Structure

The laboratory covers an area of approximately 51㎡. It consists of a test room and an equipment room, capable of conducting washing machine performance tests. This laboratory can conduct tests at three stations simultaneously. The laboratory construction mainly includes the following parts:

  • Test chamber room
  • Refrigeration and chiller units
  • Environmental control system
  • Constant temperature and pressure water supply system and piping system
  • Control system
  • Water hardness control system
  • Measurement system (test stations can measure inlet water temperature, pressure, water hardness, and electrical parameters)
  • Power supply system and secondary power distribution engineering
  • Design, installation, and commissioning

  • Test room: 100mm thick polyurethane insulation layer, 0.6mm thick double-sided color-coated steel panels
  • Flame-retardant polyurethane panels with a foam density of no less than 38kg/m³ and a flame retardant rating of B1
  • Test room dimensions: L6000mm x W3000mm x H3200mm; specific dimensions can be adjusted based on actual conditions
  • Testing stations: 4 stations, stainless steel workstations
  • Test room door: W1200mm x H2200mm, no threshold, with an observation window
  • Lighting: Four double-tube, fog-proof and waterproof fluorescent lamps (with protective covers) are installed
  • A single-phase AC backup power outlet is installed on the wall (at the door)
